Geez, I can't believe it's June already.........time is slipping by waaaaay to fast. This is just a quick post of some photos I took today.

The kids drew the names for both the Blue Mountain Handcrafts Etsy Shop and Beth1818 Etsy Shop Drawings..................if you purchased anything in May from either shop check the website and see if you won!

Last week when it was rainy and chilly I dyed wool two days in a row.................can't dye on the stove when it's hot outside and the AC is on or I'm sure the little wheel in the electric meter outside would go winging right out of it's casing and the electric company would come and take one of the kids in leu of payment. Can't have that! The kids did some dyeing of their own on superwash merino. Katie will probably spin her own but I expect I'll get to play with Alex's roving.......he looks at me funny when I ask if he wants to learn.

Katie has now spun 2 different kinds of wool--Coopworth (earthy colors)from WildHare on Etsy and Merino (pink and blue) from Knitspin on Etsy--1oz. of each. I think she's doing a fabulous job and is spinning much better after two tries than I did after 2 months. That doesn't seem fair somehow.........

Well, I just carded some crazy whatever batts and now I'm off to spin them..........maybe I'll keep this batch for me, there's a thought!

Katie we can sew and drum this weekend........and work on your spelling. So, all the other girls at school are snotty and mean---yep, I remember elementary school too. I'm seriously hoping your second message is not computer language for foul words or we'll be having a chat about more than the snotty girls at school.

So, anybody else out there have kids who think your blog is a personal messaging system and don't realize the whole world can read it? Cripes! Oh, but I love my Bugalina baby.......she's a sweetheart :)
